Pink Guitar What is this?

Guitar is guitar and guitarist is guitarist, how it sounds? Strange right? Have you heard about pink panther, may be yes great movies to watch. But have you ever gone through the word pink guitar? Most chances are not. I have never gone through this word in my life till today. I was searching for a guitar type on internet and seen the word pink guitar, first thought came was a guitar with pink color- strange one right? I was curious to see how a pink guitar will look like and I get to know about pink electric guitars, my girlfriend was much excited after watching them and wanted one though she doesn’t know how to play one. That was a pink electric guitar not the one I was searching for a pink guitar, I kept searching because I knew it should be something different than I am thinking of. Yes it is it is actually a album of acoustic guitar renditions of which music is composed by henry mancini. The album was performed by many guitarists and was created in 2004.  In 2005 the ping guitar album won the Grammy award. Grammy awards are the Oscar of the music industry. We will see few things about the henry’s life.

Henry was born on 16^th April in Cleveland Ohio United States.  His child life is very interesting; he started his fluet lessons at age of 8^th and first piano leson he got in the age of 12^th. In 1942 he attended the Juilliard School of music in New York and then he never looked back. His first job as a musician was in 1946, he worked as pianist in Glenn Miller Orchestra which was led by Tex Beneke. In 1952 Mancini joined the Universal Pictures music department. He contributed more than 100 movies with the Universal Music Department. He is called as the one of the pioneer for the introducing Jazz music into the late romantic orchestral film. One of the great music albums he produced is Pink Guitar which as said earlier won the Oscar of the music, Grammy award. He died by pancreatic cancer in Los Angeles , the year was 1994 when he was 70 years old. His contribution to the music industry is great and we will not see a same dedicated guitarist like him in future.
