Guitar is the soul of music; a musician without guitar is nothing less than a man without teethes. You can learn guitar in many ways by yourself, by going to some school of music or watching videos on how to learn guitar. Guitar is made up of a wood (main part), neck and strings. The steps to attach the guitar strap

1) First thing is get one compatible strap for your guitar.

2) Check how much strap buttons your guitar has. Basically a acoustic guitar have only one acoustic guitar strap button that is the one which is on underside of the guitar body, perfectly below the bridge. Some acoustic guitars today have one more button on the top of the body near the neck. It’s very important while attaching the strap to know about the no of strap buttons you have on your acoustic guitar. If you have a single strap button, you will need a strap having one hole at one end only. And for two strap buttons you need a strap with a hole on each side. A good one strap is planet waves acoustic guitar strap.

3) Now it’s time to attach strap to the strap button. In this step just put the hole on the strap button and attach it. Make sure you have attached it right and it is secure. A single mistake will threaten your guitar. After this step you have completed the half of the work to be completed.

4) Attach the other end of the strap to guitar. I this it depend up on how much strap buttons you have. If you have only one strap button the strings of the strap will be attached to the guitars headstock and if you have another strap button, you need to follow the point no 3. It’s a tricky part actually but not impossible.

5) After attaching the strap you need to adjust it according to suitability of you. Just know this thing that making it too tight may put impact on the guitar.

Guitar is very precious equipment and it also requires much care. Wearing a strap makes the guitar play a lot easier but taking care of guitar as well as strap is also very important.
